"I was contacted by Candice Heffelfinger in October of 2014 with an offer of a temporary assignment for a School Social Worker. Ms. Heffelfinger was very clear in her explanation that the nature of the assignment was temporary and that she could not give me a date of any kind as to when it may end, however, wanted to make sure it was a good fit for my situation at the time. We discussed the options and I decided to take the assignment. What was once a temporary assignment is now my full time job which has propelled me to new heights in my career. Ms. Heffelfinger and the rest of the staff at ACS provided assignments that fit my needs and my schedule and kept me abreast of all changes in a process that could have proved to be daunting. The experience was smooth and rewarding and the transition from working with ACS to a full time position was done professionally, with great support and compassion.I would, and do, without hesitation, recommend ACS’s services when looking to further your career objectives. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to further my career and work with each of you"
"I was a TSS with ACS Consultants, Inc., for almost two years. I really appreciated the support that I received from the entire office staff. It was really great working with them and they make the job easier. They were always willing and available to answer phone call or email and were extremely welcoming when I talk to them. My job was to stay with the client throughout the day at school and to collect data on his behaviors and transfer necessary skills he needs to help him succeed in his everyday tasks. They are flexible and encouraging. I admire any company effectively making positive changes in the daily lives of others and ACS is definitely one of them. "
Around June of 2017, I had just gotten my US Residence Green Card and I applied to a position on Indeed. Not too long after, I received a call from Ana Cepeda, telling me that ACS was interested in hiring me to be a contractor Instructional Assistant at Olney Charter High School and she asked me to send a list of documents. Sadly, in that month, my ten-year-old nephew had been involved in a hit and run and I was trying to help my sister as much as possible and so I never sent any documents. In July, Ana called me again and told me I was still on time to send them, she walked me through all the clearances process. Keeping in mind it was my first job in the USA, I told her my experience was minimal working with kids, but I still wanted to work with schools, so I could better my English. She still believed I would be good for the job. She helped me to get an interview with the ESL coordinator of the school and she prepared me for the questions the coordinator would ask.
They decided to hire me, and so we completed the process of signing the contracts though e-mails. I believe that if ACS wasn't as organized as it is this would never have worked. When I started to work, Ana was always calling me and checking up on me. If I needed something she would move heaven and earth to help me. She gave me advise to manage behavior and where to find materials to work with the students. As I kept working there the ESL coordinator saw that I was very proactive, and she put me in a classroom that didn't have a teacher leader hired yet. So, I decided to guide the students on the work they needed to do while they found someone. Ana then stepped out for me and asked the School to give me a raise which they did. They put me in a Co-Teacher ESL position and also leading a class on my own, in which I have been working ever since. Now at the end of the school year the school have asked for me to be hired direct with the school and so I will have all benefits and the opportunity to be a member of the union. I leave ACS with sadness and a lot of appreciation for giving me such an opportunity and trusting in me like they did. What a wonderful company!
Sometimes we feel so tired of dreaming we are afraid of falling asleep. Sometimes life throws not one but two curves disguised as category 5 hurricanes and hopes are no longer about a better life, we hope to find a bag of ice to bring home to your dear mom waiting in what is left of the home in Puerto Rico that we grew up in. Hope becomes a cross you embrace. Praying has a new meaning, life. Philadelphia was waiting patiently, like the good Samaritan, silently opening her arms to many of us. We heard, took a plane and landed in the most beautiful place I had seen in years. So many trees, so much green, so full of life. Fast forwarding a few months and many resumes later I received the call that changed my life forever. It was Ana Cepeda from ACS. As crazy as it may sound I felt an immediate connection with this person, I felt her warmth and caring voice showing me how to fly again, she had the wings I had lost and called with the good news. Ana became more than my ACS representative. She was there with answers and suggestions, kindly showing me the path to what became the most fulfilling career I could ever dream of. The sad memories may never leave, but there are so many new beautiful ones that there is no time for sadness anymore. Thank you dear Ana, thank you ACS for a new life. Dreams do come true.
Working with ACS has been a great experience. The school that they placed me at was a safe environment and a really great school to work at. ACS, handles all the negotiation and was able to get the most for me. The staff at ACS are efficient and will work with you through any situation. My overall experience was satisfactory and will recommend anyone I know to work with ACS at any time. Thanks for a great experience.
"ACS provides personal attention. Other agencies usually place you and forget you. ACS shows concern throughout long term assignments. I have worked for a few agencies. ACS is the best!"

"I like the fact that you get to change the children minds you work with to make better decisions and how it feels great that you can have a huge impact on a child life as well as those around them. ACS gave me the opportunity to connect with children from all different parts and backgrounds and change their life."
"Some of the staff members that ACS hired were lovely to work with. I also really liked my recruiter. My recruiter showed sympathy as well as empathy throughout my whole assignment. They were also both honest and kind with me. Ana Cepeda is a recruiter who you'll definitely want to have. She's absolutely amazing!"
