Ms. Heffelfinger was very clear in her explanation that the nature of the assignment was temporary and that she could not give me a date of any kind as to when it may end, however, wanted to make sure it was a good fit for my situation at the time."

  • One of the best if not the best Agency to work for. What sets them apart from others is that most everyone there is always friendly, approachable, and easy to work with. From the fist time I heard about them and contacted them, Felicia Borrero has always gone the extra mile in meeting my needs. She is professional yet approachable and ALWAYS available when needed. Thank you Felicia for all that you do for us.

  • Working with ACS has been a great experience. The school that they placed me at was a safe environment and a really great school to work at. ACS, handles all the negotiation and was able to get the most for me. The staff at ACS are efficient and will work with you through any situation. My overall experience was satisfactory and will recommend anyone I know to work with ACS at any time. Thanks for a great experience.

  • I had the pleasure of meeting/speaking with Ms. Amber Sell. She is very friendly to speak with and showed a genuine interest in helping me with my concerns and scheduling needs. Amber went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered. I recommend ACS Consultants because not only is the staff easy going and pleasant to talk to, from my research, the compensation is better than their competitors.Thank you Amber for all of your help.

  • Amber sell, Very personable to speak with. We’ve never met in person but she makes me feel like I’ve known her forever. I got a job offered elsewhere that I’ve been waiting on and she congratulated and had nothing but nice things to say. You don’t speak with or get to meet people that are like that. Especially when it comes to working and I’ve worked for a lot of miserable people in the past lol. And if this is who the company is I would have love to work for them. She is a great representative of the company. Thank you so much Amber.

  • "I was a TSS with ACS Consultants, Inc., for almost two years. I really appreciated the support that I received from the entire office staff. It was really great working with them and they make the job easier. They were always willing and available to answer phone call or email and were extremely welcoming when I talk to them. My job was to stay with the client throughout the day at school and to collect data on his behaviors and transfer necessary skills he needs to help him succeed in his everyday tasks. They are flexible and encouraging. I admire any company effectively making positive changes in the daily lives of others and ACS is definitely one of them. "

  • Hello, I'm Rob. I graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 2012 with my bachelors in criminal justice/sociology, I wanted to be a juvenile probation officer and still did but I was having a hard time finding a job as one. Everyone wanted experience, that whole catch 22 thing, so one New Year's Eve party I went to changed my path quite a bit!

The consultant (Susan) called me (I usually never answer my phone if I don't know the number, but i did) and she had an incredible energy and although I was already signed with two agency's Susan told me as a PCA I could help out my clients and peers as long as my client is on task and also be an assistant to the teacher. So it worked out very well. The other PCA's were very nice. I feel like I actually have a voice as a PCA, as to where when I was a TSS the teacher would more treat me like "the help" not very outgoing but the locations I've been in contact with everyone and everyone is very cool. After almost a year at a high school through ACS I actually realized that I could get through to kids so much easier as a teacher than as a juvenile probation officer so i applied for the fall semester to obtain my masters and I have an English teacher writing me a letter of recommendation. I actually made a lot of contacts in such a short time. Point of story I'm trying to convey is that I started out just a job, not really important to me. I had no idea how important it would be to me that it would turn into a passion of wanting to teach. I believe things happen for a reason and ACS are amazing people to work for. ACS really cares about you, giving me advice of how to go about my goal.

Everyone is unique on their own level, as long as you respect them they will treat you very well and you can be totally cool and honest with them as they are very open. Candice and Stacy I have to say as well are absolutely amazing and I appreciate everything you have done for me!! We are kind of like a family.

  • Around June of 2017, I had just gotten my US Residence Green Card and I applied to a position on Indeed. Not too long after, I received a call from Ana Cepeda, telling me that ACS was interested in hiring me to be a contractor Instructional Assistant at Olney Charter High School and she asked me to send a list of documents. Sadly, in that month, my ten-year-old nephew had been involved in a hit and run and I was trying to help my sister as much as possible and so I never sent any documents. In July, Ana called me again and told me I was still on time to send them, she walked me through all the clearances process. Keeping in mind it was my first job in the USA, I told her my experience was minimal working with kids, but I still wanted to work with schools, so I could better my English. She still believed I would be good for the job. She helped me to get an interview with the ESL coordinator of the school and she prepared me for the questions the coordinator would ask.

They decided to hire me, and so we completed the process of signing the contracts though e-mails. I believe that if ACS wasn't as organized as it is this would never have worked. When I started to work, Ana was always calling me and checking up on me. If I needed something she would move heaven and earth to help me. She gave me advise to manage behavior and where to find materials to work with the students. As I kept working there the ESL coordinator saw that I was very proactive, and she put me in a classroom that didn't have a teacher leader hired yet. So, I decided to guide the students on the work they needed to do while they found someone. Ana then stepped out for me and asked the School to give me a raise which they did. They put me in a Co-Teacher ESL position and also leading a class on my own, in which I have been working ever since. Now at the end of the school year the school have asked for me to be hired direct with the school and so I will have all benefits and the opportunity to be a member of the union. I leave ACS with sadness and a lot of appreciation for giving me such an opportunity and trusting in me like they did. What a wonderful company!

  • "ACS Consultants first, I want to thank all of you at ACS. My name is Harry Serad and I have a lot to be grateful to all of you at ACS. My story with ACS I think is somewhat complicated. I've been with ACS for years on and off. I finally appreciate how hard they have worked always for me. ACS always found me work. At times, I was not ready or it may not have been a perfect fit. And the trouble I caused them. Yet, through the years, they never turned me away or rejected me. Always welcoming me back. And with true care. Enough of the past, because I called again so recently. Talking to Candice and I was working within two days. They all care and make sure you are happy with your assignment. Everyone in their office always show care. For you and the school they think would be a good fit. No matter who picks up the phone, you feel you are special. I thank ACS for so much. All the chances and opportunities you give the independent contractors and continuously finding the best job for us. The care is so apparent. 24/7 contact and support. They never let me down. I'm now at an assignment I absolutely love. And you should be too! Harry Serad PS- Candice will always be my go to person but everyone in that office works so hard and has a heart of gold. They are all family and I feel that truly. A wonderful place to work for. Go for it. You will not be disappointed."

  • Sometimes we feel so tired of dreaming we are afraid of falling asleep. Sometimes life throws not one but two curves disguised as category 5 hurricanes and hopes are no longer about a better life, we hope to find a bag of ice to bring home to your dear mom waiting in what is left of the home in Puerto Rico that we grew up in. Hope becomes a cross you embrace. Praying has a new meaning, life. Philadelphia was waiting patiently, like the good Samaritan, silently opening her arms to many of us. We heard, took a plane and landed in the most beautiful place I had seen in years. So many trees, so much green, so full of life. Fast forwarding a few months and many resumes later I received the call that changed my life forever. It was Ana Cepeda from ACS. As crazy as it may sound I felt an immediate connection with this person, I felt her warmth and caring voice showing me how to fly again, she had the wings I had lost and called with the good news. Ana became more than my ACS representative. She was there with answers and suggestions, kindly showing me the path to what became the most fulfilling career I could ever dream of. The sad memories may never leave, but there are so many new beautiful ones that there is no time for sadness anymore. Thank you dear Ana, thank you ACS for a new life. Dreams do come true.
